Sharks rule the oceans. Humans always fear from sharks. So, it is better to know some facts about Bull shark vs tiger shark. The comparison, difference and fight between bull shark vs tiger shark is given below.

Bull shark facts

The bull shark scientifically known as Carcharhinus leucas is classified as number three on the list of most dangerous sharks in the world when it comes to attack humans. These sharks are unpredictable and this is what that makes it most dangerous.

Bull shark lives in both the fresh water and salt water found around the world. It is believed that the bull sharks are responsible for almost all the different shark attacks. Since bull sharks are territorial, this is why they often attack people. 

Bull sharks are extremely large both in length and weight. They can be approximately 8-11 feet long and my weigh up to 315 kilogram. Female sharks are generally large than males.

They are grey on top and white on bottom, even have two dorsal fins, one that is large and another one is smaller. Bull shark are aggressive and usually live near high population shorelines. 

Bull sharks are currently no threatened or endangered. They are fished widely for their meat, hides and oil and their numbers are shrinking. Their average life span is sixteen years.

Tiger shark facts

Tiger shark scientifically known as Galeocerdo cuvier are very large and require considerable amount of wide open space. They are found in the tropic as well as sub tropic areas of the world. Tiger sharks have been recorded with the most attacks on humans.

They are very aggressive by nature and will at no cost stop in order to complete a hunt for food. Their eyesight is amazing that is the reason they tend to hunt at night. They are solitary sharks and they live alone.

They have sharp, highly serrated teeth and powerful jaws that allow them to crack the shells of sea turtle. They are harvested for their fins, skin, flesh, liver which contains high amount of vitamin A.  They are listed as near threatened throughout their range.

Tiger sharks generally swim slowly but once the shark come close to its prey, a speed burst allows it to reach the prey before it can escape. The tiger shark is compared to be sacred for the peoples of hawaii who think that the eyeballs of the tiger shark have special power of visual perception.

Who will win the fight- The tiger shark is known for eating anything whereas, bull sharks has the most testosterone which makes it very aggressive. Bull sharks use an usual method to capture their prey by bump and bite techniques. They use their body weight to bump on its prey and baffles them and even kills its prey whereas, tiger sharks are very curiously nature and eats anything that comes its way.

Tiger sharks are considered to be at the second place in attacking humans. Bull shark mainly eat fishes, sea turtles, birds, molluscs, dolphins, other shrks, crustaceans, etc. Whereas, tiger shark eats almost everything like jellyfish, birds, sea turtle, pigs, metallic objects, etc. Life span of a tiger shark is of 50 years but of bull shark is 16 years.

Bull shark are discriminating about what they will eat but on the other hand,  tiger shark tends to eat anything and everything. Tiger shark are extremely aggressive than the bull sharks. Tiger sharks are larger and strong in comparison to bull shark. Bull sharks are medium sized whereas, tiger sharks are 12 feet long.  Tiger sharks are more powerful and they may tend to win the fight with the bull shark.

Due to the extremely aggressive nature of tiger shark, bull shark may become its prey and would lose a fight between them. As mentioned above, tiger shark tends to eat everything that comes on it way. They may be sluggish but when it comes near its prey, they bump on it very fast that the opponent is unable to escape.

So, finally Tiger shark would win the fight from bull shark.

  2. tiger shark is longer, heavier and powerful than bull shark, which means tiger shark can easily defeat the bull shark
