King Cobra Vs Black Mamba, The name King Cobra itself defines this dangerous species of snake that it is the king in cobra species as well is in all other venomous species of snakes. It is the world longest venomous snake with a length up to 18 ft and weight up to 13 kg.

It is heavily found in the lush green forest of India, China and Indonesia. Its venom can kill 100 people at a time and it is enough for killing a full frown elephant with a single bite. Although its venom is not strong as of Africa’s Black Mamba but it generate a lot of venom on a single bite which immediately cause death if there is no help service like its anti-venom is available.

King Cobra generates a lot of venom from all other snakes on a single bite which makes him one of the dangerous venomous snakes in the world.

Black Mamba is one of the longest Venomous snakes of world and the longest in Africa Continent with a length up to 14 ft.

The name Black Mamba is discovered because of its black color inside its mouth which makes him scary and dangerous while attacking with an open mouth.

Black mamba is the most dangerous venomous snake of world, as it kills a human in minutes with his single bite. It is mostly found in southern and eastern countries of Africa.

King Cobra is heavily survives on other snakes. It is a snake-eater snake which mainly eats rat snake, small pythons and other venomous snakes like spectacled cobra and krait snake.

Black Mamba eats rat, bird, lizard and insects and like other snakes Black Mamba is also a shy kind of snake who doesn't like the human presence in his surroundings. They only attack humans only if they are threaten by them.

On the other hand King Cobra is a fearless snake and can attack humans any time if they found them in their surroundings which make King Cobra very dangerous. King Cobra can defend himself against the big and strong animals like elephant.

In case of venom of both the snakes, Black Mamba has more dangerous venom than King Cobra which contains Neurotoxins, Cardiotoxins and Calciseptine.  Neurotoxin is the kind of toxin which blocks the control of nervous system, Cardiotoxins attack directly on heart and damage the muscles as a result heart becomes weaker and unable to pump which cause into death, Calciseptine blocks the L type-calcium channels, thus inhibiting in smooth muscles contraction and cardiac function.

After bitten by Black Mamba you will observe dizziness, drowsiness, coughing, convulsions, and an erratic heartbeat. Victim bitten by this snake also have other symptoms which come on rapidly include neuromuscular symptoms, loss of consciousness, excessive salivation limb paralysis, nausea, vomiting, fever, and very severe abdominal pain.

Victim bitten by King Cobra observes severe intense pain, vertigo, drowsiness, paralysis and blurred vision,. Envenomation progresses to cardiovascular collapse, and the victim shortly falls into a coma which cause death soon follows due to failure of respiratory system. However, envenomation from king cobras is clinically known to cause renal failure.

Head to Head:

If both snakes meet each other in head to head fight, then King Cobra would have the upper hand over Black mamba, as King Cobra is bigger, larger and heavier than Black Mamba and also a snake-eater which probably can eat Black Mamba but it is not so easy as it look because Black Mamba is so quick and fast, if he found himself in danger than he will escape from the King Cobra.

At last I would say that, the name King Cobra is perfectly suitable on this dangerous snake because it is a real King of all venomous snake species.
